Room # 20 – Ivy Room

With its southern exposure, the Ivy Room is one of our most popular for aspen gazing in the fall through the windows overlooking the Ironclad Mountains. With its theme of fluffy ivy-covered comforters on the full and twin size beds, this room is reminiscent of an English garden. Again, this room is complete with a sink, but guests must use the community bathroom on the second floor to shower - truly like an English B&B.

We came upon you quite by chance and one night turned into three (of course) - a perfect end to a lovely holiday - what relaxation . — Alan & Monica (Surrey, England)

My favorite things; your warm welcome & hospitality; waking up to the sound of singing birds, neighing horses & bleating goats; sleeping with the windows side open; the smell of chocolate chip cookies warm from the oven; the smell of sausage & coffee in the morning; wildflowers outside the front door; hummers on the porch; bunnies chasing each other - across the street; meeting Samantha & Jessie. — Ruth

We three sisters had a Colorado reunion here - how much it added to our weekend. One sister is from Kansas City, one from Nashville, & one from Denver. We sat on the upstairs porch and read aloud stories our grandmother had written before her death about her childhood memories of growing up in the 1800's near Wichita, KS. The Lodge is a perfect environment for such journey's down memory lane. — Vick, Janice, & Betsy
