Room # 8 – Mom's Room

So named because both of our moms choose this room when they can come for a visit, as do many of the matriarchs of family groups who visit. We strongly suspect it's due to the close proximity of the fabulous front porch and the rocking chairs awaiting them, not to mention the comfortable full size brass bed, extra heavy comforter, and bathroom with a shower.

This was a special place for us in many ways. One being "our" Patrick and Bella's wedding and reception here at your lodge. It was a special time because Bella is from Croatia and we got to meet her family for the first time…mother, brother, and sisters and friends from Europe. Staying overnight together in your lodge was a real blending of cultures and family and afforded us the opportunity to get to know one another in an intimate and cozy home setting. It will always be a special place with found memories to share. Thank you for the warmth and hospitality shown to all.

Heavy sigh!! What a nice homey feeling. This has truly captured the word vacation. This was our first time in a Bed & Breakfast. We were not sure what to expect. Well needless to say, this Bed & Breakfast was far better than we could have imagined. Oh and that hot tub was exactly what we needed after a 7 hour 22 mile rafting trip. We hope to return with friends. Thank you immensely for a wonderful evening.
