Room # 3 – Mother Goose Room

Yellow gingham and light blue surround Mother Goose herself in this sunny room overlooking the Ironclad Mountains and the occasional elk sleeping in our backyard. This spacious room with a sink connects with Room 4, the Carousel Room, making them the perfect rooms for families or friends who are close enough to be family.

June 2008: Dear Bill and Juanita,
We have travelled many countries but never have had something like your lodge. The most striking thing for us was your hospitality which is beyond my compare. We enjoyed very much our staying here. As we shall return to Israel we are going to recommend our friends to visit Colorado Rocky Mountains to stay at your lodge. If we are going to get to be again in this region we will happily come again. Leo and T., Israel
P.S. Leo is very thankful for your helping Les to get over her fear from riding horses.

September 2008: Dear Juanita & Bill, Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful stay at your home! We felt like we were back in Alaska at one of the roadhouse/lodges were used to fly into. However, yours definitely is the most luxurious and warmly inviting – bar none! Thank you! Eric & Jeanne, Juneau, Alaska

September 2010: Although I live in the Denver area, it feels like I’m far away here in Allenspark Lodge. I was lucky enough to get the last room available this Labor Day weekend and what a treat this was. “Mother Goose” room couldn’t be more appropriate for a former elementary teacher, now grandmother of a one-year-old. Juanita and Bill treat you just like family and the connections made and relaxation - couldn’t be beat – bar none! Thank you! I’ll be back. Mary Jo, Colorado

December 2010: I know I just arrived…but Are you kidding me? This place is perfect! [Next day] Now we’re about to depart and I just want to say that this is what I’ve always pictured a real INN as being! This place is amazing!
