Room # 3 – Mother Goose Room

Yellow gingham and light blue surround Mother Goose herself in this sunny room overlooking the Ironclad Mountains and the occasional elk sleeping in our backyard. This spacious room with a sink connects with Room 4, the Carousel Room, making them the perfect rooms for families or friends who are close enough to be family.

Hi! I came back here again. When I woke up in this morning, I smell something from downstairs. I remember the smell. Last time I had a good time in breakfast. I seem to come back to my own house to eat, is made me warm!! Thank you for the kindness in everything. It means a lot. Wishing you have a peaceful, wonderful Thanksgiving . — Friend from Taiwan, Lin Miao-Fang

We hadn't even planned to spend the night in this area after visiting our son, but "something" grabbed us as we drove by. And now we know why ~ it's enchanting. Your warmth and hospitality can be felt in every corner, every pillow, every flower. Thank you!! — Pam & Permon (Homer, Alaska

We think, we can't reach the lodge, because of surprising snow two days before. As you see, we were her and it was very nice because of the snow around and the friendly people here in the lodge and Sam. Many thanks. — Thomas (Bielefeld, Germany)

The Allenspark Lodge is becoming our "second home" . . . A rustic/homey atmosphere, great location, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, etc. - all make for a great B&B. Bill & Juanita are also quite entertaining (ask about their horses, pets, etc.). Most interesting experiences this visit . . .1) Hiking in thunder, lightening and now - all at the same time. 2) Seeing a herd of elk (must have been a 100) on the Estes Park golf course. — Tom & JJ (Grand Rapids, MI)
